Dusseldorf Airport (DUS) is Germany’s fourth-busiest airport, located about 6 km north of the city center. Serving over 19 million passengers in 2023, it’s the main international hub for North Rhine-Westphalia. The airport has three terminals (A, B, and C), two runways, and handles flights to over 100 destinations worldwide. It is a hub for Eurowings and a focus city for Condor, SunExpress, and TUI fly. Düsseldorf Airport is well-connected by road and rail, including a SkyTrain linking terminals to long-distance trains.

Düsseldorf Airport is no exception; it has some of the highest detail I've ever seen in any scenery, far surpassing Aerosoft's rendition, and despite this it performs incredibly well on my medium-to-high-spec PC.
The notable positives:
- The ground textures, as usual with MK, are amazing - all crisp, highly detailed, and accurate to the real world as far as I can tell from looking at satellite maps
- The buildings are simply exquisite with no exceptions - even the anti-bird spikes on the VDGS mountings are visible. MK Studios does a far better job at capturing the little details of the terminal building far better than Aerosoft in their rendition, from textures to physical modelling.
- The detail found in the area immediately surrounding the airport is wonderful; the scenery makes EVERYTHING at Düsseldorf Airport feel immersive, including the surrounding areas.
- Trees and foliage seem to be a lot better with the MK Studios version, especially surrounding the Düsseldorf Airport SkyTrain (H-Bahn), which seems to be simply carpeted in trees in the Aerosoft version
I find it incredibly hard to make any negative points about this scenery, it's currently one of my favourites in the entire simulator.
For those wishing to compare the Aerosoft and MK Studios renditions, I highly suggest looking at Contrail's comparison of both. I personally consider the MK Studios version to be far superior in pretty much every regard.
