The terminal and aprons are well modelled, with the airside area of the terminal getting a reasonable interior. The exterior looks generally good but the fine metalwork present in reality hasn't been recreated here. This is the only area in which the 'other' version does better.
The terminal landside has mostly been left to default satellite imagery but various custom-modelled assets — such as vehicles, trees, signage, a gas station, a restaurant and a couple of hotels — make it look a little prettier than it otherwise would.
The ground textures are decent, without being exceptional. Ground markings are clear and true to the real airport. There are a handful of decent-looking static aircraft on the military ramps.
The one disappointment (which isn't really Verticalsim's fault) comes in the form of a series of mismatched terrain tiles at the end of one of the runways. Where this occurs, it looks pretty ugly and definitely affects immersion.
In conclusion, it's a nice little airport but I have to say, I think they did a better job updating Omaha Eppley, which was originally released around the same time. Had I paid full price for Boise, I might feel I didn't quite get my money's worth — however with the superb discount, I'm more than happy.
