Landside in Detail
Birmingham Airport’s landside area is more than just an entry point - it’s a dynamic space with rail connections, bus interchanges, hotels, and the iconic Air-Rail Link to the nearby Birmingham International Station. From the terminal drop-off zones to the surrounding infrastructure, everything has been faithfully recreated to reflect the daily movement of passengers and services, giving a true sense of place even before reaching the runway.
Custom GSE
The airport includes a complete set of custom ground service equipment tailored to Birmingham. From baggage carts to tugs and GPU units, these assets reflect the actual types of vehicles seen at BHX, helping to create a more believable airside environment.
GSX Profile
A custom GSX profile is included, thoughtfully designed by Will Hinshaw. It takes full advantage of the latest GSX features, such as animated jetway operations and custom vehicle placements, ensuring that ground handling fits the layout and traffic flow of BHX precisely.
Bespoke Terrain
BHX includes a fully custom terrain model, carefully shaped to reflect the airport’s natural topography. The runway and taxiways feature realistic slopes, and elevation changes across the airport are accurately represented - including the hillside solar park next to Taxiway Bravo.
Animated People
Whether waiting in the departure lounge, enjoying a meal, or moving through the terminal, animated people add a sense of movement and realism to the airport.

The level of detail from Pyreegue is usually fabulous, but this one is next level. If you want a scenery that sets the bar, this is it.
The jewel in the crown is the additional GSX download profiles. I was sitting at the gate and looked to my left and thought it would be great if I could see the passengers walk down the gate stairs to the aircraft.....and BAM, there they were. All the GSX equipment was perfectly positioned. This addition to detail was breath taking.
I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Add Beyond ATC into the mix and its just perfect.
Get yourself a copy, you will not regret it.

This is by far the best airport I've bought so far, so many details in and out and a super smooth experience. I won't try to convince you any longer as all the pictures speak for themselves.
You need to buy it and enjoy the best airport made for MSFS by Pyreegue - you will be blown away!
